Journal of Polar Science and Engineering (JNPSE) is a new peer-reviewed, international and interdisciplinary research journal that focuses on polar science and engineering, with an extended focus on polar and polar-like regions, such as the Arctic, Antarctic, high-altitude regions, and cryogenic polar environments on the Moon and other planets. Its primary objective is to publish high-quality research in fundamental, applied and high-technology fields based on polar and polar-like regions, and to report the latest discoveries, inventions, theories and methodologies in polar research. The journal covers a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to: polar geology, oceanography, glaciology, sea ice, environmental science, biology, ecology, space and atmospheric science, climatology, astronomy, meteoritics, cryospheric science, geochemistry, geophysics, seismology, as well as humanities and social sciences. Besides all aspects of natural and social sciences, emphasis is given to emerging technologies in polar regions, particularly in the areas of cold-region engineering and materials, polar transportation and residency, and advances in polar detection and observation. It is aiming to report the first-class original papers and top reviews in nuclear analysis and its interdisciplinary research, and builds international academic communication platform.
